Day 5: 60 Days of CrossFit | IFA CrossFit in Boise

CrossFit Fridays

Towards the end of the week I have more time, more time to work on the house, more time to clean the facility, and more time to get a great phenomenal workout in. CrossFit has been great so far due to my busy schedule in helping other people move better, lose weight, get stronger, and become all better athletes. 30 minutes in an out and I am on the floor breathing heavily feeling good about the next day. Luckily it is Friday afternoon and after spending an hour coaching 53 high school volleyball athletes, (which Go Mavs!) it is finally time to decompress and enjoy a grueling workout.

To our CrossFit Director/Coach Eric calls this the Monster Mash. It is an intense 3 diverse types of workouts with 5 mins rest between each workout. Now of course scaling down is a must if you are still following this journey, as I couldn’t even do the prescribed workout.

Now you just rested from Day 4, so energy is up and recovery feels good. It is time to go hard for this workout and push yourself to a new limit today, your brain and body will thank you of course. Plus self-confidence will go through the roof!

  • 21-15-9 Reps for Cals
  • Assault Bike
  • Row Machine

  • 4 rounds for time
  • 15 Toes to Bar
  • 5 Push Jerks – 95lbs
